Hi, thanks for reminding me of how unprepared we are as Americans. Every time I talk about Civil War, I’m always treated like I’m a crazy person, but I know it’s coming, that’s kind of why I’m in Israel right now.
The thing that scares me the most is that the Civil War is not gonna be like the last one; it’s gonna be seven or more different factions fighting against each other, just like in Syria, and the country may never be united again.
It could be Islamists versus fascists versus Christian fundamentalists versus communists versus other Islamists versus the main establishment.
I pray that the United States won’t get that way, but it seems like it will, and I don’t wanna be there when it happens, and I don’t want my family to be there either.
Many thanks for your thoughtful comment. I live in Europe and watch the mayhem unfolding. Israel is looking more and more like an oasis of reason and relative safety. Regarding civil war in America, they are grossly underestimating the Islamist threat.
I don't see a civil war occurring in America. Despite the outsized voices of the fringe kooks, most Americans are sane. More likely European nations will have civil wars because of their muslim problem. But we do need to end muslim immigration here before we get to that point.
You sent me for a loop with that dissertation about the second thing one wanted; however, you may have nothing to eat with that spoon if you either can’t protect your garden from predators or can’t produce game for the pot.
I'm not anti-guns. Just throwing the image out there. When I was a child, I had terrifying nightmares about Jesus on the cross and various saints who appeared in the corner of my bedroom each night. One day while my parents were out, I discovered a Colt 45 (M1911) stuffed under my parents’ matress. Took the hunky gun to my room and placed it until my own pillow. The nightmares stopped and the phantoms never reappeared. Go figure.
